Connecting the intercom LY-8-1

To connect the intercom to the intercom system, connect the appropriate bus wires to terminals L+ and L-. ATTENTION! Incorrect cable connection will block the entire intercom system (error message: E2 on the external panel display).

Note: Only LY-8-1 intercoms have a bell module.

In addition to correctly connecting the intercom, it is also necessary to solve this problem. Addressing the intercom is carried out using jumpers located on the intercom board in section JP1. To enter the corresponding address, place jumpers on the corresponding numbers so that their sum gives our number. For example, if we want to set the number 6, the jumpers should be set to 4 + 2. However, if we want to install No. 19, the jumpers should be set to 16+2+1.

Call function

The LY-8-1 intercom is equipped with a bell module, to which you can connect a standard bell button installed in front of the entrance to the apartment. Thus, the intercom can replace the traditional doorbell.

ATTENTION! To operate the LY-8-1 intercom as a bell, an additional 13.5 VDC power supply is required. You can use a central power supply that powers a group of intercoms.
