The line protection module is designed for Laskomex digital intercoms in audio and video versions.
These intercoms are equipped with L +, L- uniphone line protection, which in the event of a short circuit protects the intercom against damage and causes displaying a message informing about the failure on the display in the external panel. In the event of a short circuit of the L + and L- lines, the entire intercom stops working.
The module divides the uniphone line into four independent branches and protects each of them against short-circuit. In the event of a breakdown in a given branch, it is cut off from the others that may continue to work.
A short circuit in a given line is signaled by lighting of the LED diode. These LEDs help the installer to identify where the failure has occurred. Two modules can be connected in a cascade, thus increasing the number of branches into which the intercom system can be divided to 7.
